“The Grid,
A digital frontier,
I tried to picture clusters of information as they move through the computer,
What did they look like? Ships? Motorcycles? Were the circuits like freeways?
I kept dreaming of a world I thought I’d never see;
And then, one day, I got in…” ***
After that,
I saw a dream,
I saw a shadow covering me as a blanket in a cold day,
I saw an impossible way,
A way to run and seek my lost soul;
But why did I get in?
I forgot over passed years,
Perhaps I turned in an Android,
But even the androids can, sometimes, feel their souls;
In this infinite looping in which one I have lost myself,
I could see a lightning Achenbach’s picture,
“A Sunset after a Storm on the Coast of Sicily”;
Ah, the clusters of information,
Yes,
Now I can see them,
Now I can feel them,
In this Grid,
In this parallel Universe,
I kept dreaming of the solutions of my problems,
But the answer was No;
God?
I don’t know where he is…
I don’t know where I am…
But suddenly I know,
I discovered,
The clusters of information: they look like ships,
Ships in imaginary oceans,
With giant waves,
Who arrive in this frontier of my mind, the grid.
